Job Description (Volunteer Position)

Title: Landscaper/Gardener

Supervisor: Operations Manager

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, landscaping/gardening volunteers help Marin Services for Women maintain well-kept grounds and may be involved in one or more of the following duties:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Occasional or On-Going Projects
Mowing, pruning or weeding
Tree trimming
Watering and fertilizing
Planting
Soil preparation
Other outdoor maintenance tasks

Qualifications:
Good working knowledge of plants and natural materials
Ability to use gardening equipment and tools as needed
Ability to accomplish tasks on set schedule
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with MSW staff, clients, and the general public

Requirements:

People in recovery will need to have one continuous year of being clean and sober.
