Job Description (Volunteer Position)

Title: Special Event Photographer

Supervisor: Development Manager

Under the direction of the Development Manager, volunteer photographers help raise community awareness and support for Marin Services for Women through their artistic and visual skills. Volunteers may be involved in one or more of the following:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Special Events
Take photographs as arranged by development staff
Provide own equipment
Print photographs with selection chosen by development staff
Represent MSW in a professional manner

Promotional Materials
Help design and provide pictures for website and print materials

Note: Volunteers will be reimbursed for film & printing costs as needed and as agreed upon prior to each event or project

Qualifications:
Experience with photography
Understanding of women’s issues
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with MSW staff, clients and their children, and the general public
Ability to maintain confidentiality of agency operations and clients

Requirements:

People in recovery will need to have one continuous year of being clean and sober
