Started by women, for women

Our evolution has spanned over 30 years.

In 1978 a group of women participating in AA decided they wanted to support each other by living together and recovering together. Out of that desire, Larkspur House was born and was home to MSW for the next twenty-five years.  In 2003, MSW acquired another facility in Greenbrae. Recently, MSW returned to Larkspur House to focus on providing indvidualized care in its original setting.

Today we have evolved into a leader in the field, offering progressive, comprehensive, whole woman substance abuse disorder treatment and life skills coaching through a complete and holistic continuum of care and support. Our world-class programs and services have guided thousands of women and their families on the path toward health.
