BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Katie Crecelius, President, lives in Novato and is a long-time Marin resident. She has worked locally in the affordable housing field for over thirty years, completing 20 low-income housing developments for various nonprofits, most serving persons with disabilities. She has a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and is a licensed real estate broker. Katie is a founding member of the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative, chair of the Novato Housing Coalition, and former chair of the Marin Economic Commission. She is the recipient of the 2004 Beryl H. Buck Award for individual achievement from the Marin Community Foundation. Katie played a major role in MSW's site search, building rehabilitation project, and move into our new facility in Greenbrae.

Nancy Freitas Lambert, Psy.D.; Vice President, is a psychologist who specializes in the treatment of trauma and addiction. Nancy began here graduate studies at Dominican University in 1998 with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. She received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley in 2005. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in 2005 with the Community Institute for Psychotherapy working primarily with individuals with a history of trauma and abuse. In October 2006, she completed her post-doctoral internship with Marin County Mental Health, where she continued her focus of working with trauma survivors. She is currently a registered psychological assistant for Joan Sommer, Ph.D. She has a private practice in San Rafael and Point Reyes Station. She is on staff at the Jeanette Prandi Children’s Center where she works with children who have a history of abuse and neglect, primarily representing the West Marin population. She is also currently the Director of Ritter Center Outreach Program where she provides weekly supervision to the interns who provide counseling services to the clients.
Joe Meylan, Treasurer, is President of Meylan Construction, specializing in commercial tenant improvement construction.
He is a certified professional estimator, past president of the Golden Gate Chapter of the
American Society of Professional Estimators and teaches estimating at Sonoma State University.
Joe joined MSW's Board of Directors in Fall 2003, and believes that
"investing in our community pays back the biggest dividends in life."
Joe has also served on the Board of Directors for Lifehouse for 13 years,
and the Board of Directors for Marin Housing for the Handicapped for six years.
He has been a resident of Marin since 1982, married to his wife Lisa for 10 years,
and is a proud parent of six-year-old twins, Christian and Cody.
Angela Gallardo, Secretary, is a single-mom, in-home caregiver, student at College of Marin and an MSW alumna. Since her completion of MSW's residential program, Angela has participated in the MSW Alumnae Association serving as Treasurer and Co-President. She also attended real estate school and was employed by Casa Allegra Community Services, a nonprofit organization that serves developmentally disabled individuals. As a board member Angela plans to work to create more opportunities for client and board interaction. "The organization has given me the life I have today, as a productive member of my community, and as a wonderful role model to my daughter and the members of my family."
Nancy H. Rubin, brings an impressive variety of experience to the Marin Services for Women Board of Directors. Nancy became acquainted with MSW as a volunteer, offering dance classes to our clients starting in 1998, and through her role as Director for Marin County Department of Health & Human Services. She is currently the CEO of Edgewood Center for Children and Families, the oldest children's charity in the Western U. S. Previously, Nancy was Deputy Director, Los Angeles County Department of Health Services; Director, Homeless Program for San Francisco Department of Public Health; Associate Director, Community Substance Abuse Services, SFDPH; Administrative Director, Berkeley Women's Health Clinic. Nancy is dedicated to the community and committed to MSW's growth. She is an invaluable asset to MSW's Board of Directors.
Talley E. McIntyre, a litigation attorney with Nixon Peabody, LLP, focuses on government investigations, white-collar criminal defense, complex civil litigation, and labor and employment matters. She also works with the Beverage Alcohol Team.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McIntyre practiced as a litigator and served as in-house
counsel in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. She has trial experience as a prosecutor,
criminal defense counsel, and special assistant U.S. Attorney. While at the University of
San Francisco, Ms. McIntyre was an Articles Editor for the University of San Francisco
Law Review and was a member of the McAuliffe Law Honor Society. During law
school, Ms. McIntyre worked for the Department of Justice, Torts Branch, Civil
Division.
