Katie Crecelius

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Katie Crecelius, President, lives in Novato and is a long-time Marin resident. She has worked locally in the affordable housing field for over thirty years, completing 20 low-income housing developments for various nonprofits, most serving persons with disabilities. She has a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and is a licensed real estate broker. Katie is a founding member of the Marin Environmental Housing Collaborative, chair of the Novato Housing Coalition, and former chair of the Marin Economic Commission. She is the recipient of the 2004 Beryl H. Buck Award for individual achievement from the Marin Community Foundation. Katie played a major role in MSW's site search, building rehabilitation project, and move into our new facility in Greenbrae.

Nancy Freitas Lambert, Psy.D.; Secretary, is a psychologist who specializes in the treatment of trauma and addiction. Nancy began her graduate studies at Dominican University in 1998 with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. She received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley in 2005. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in 2005 with the Community Institute for Psychotherapy working primarily with individuals with a history of trauma and abuse. In October 2006, she completed her post-doctoral internship with Marin County Mental Health, where she continued her focus of working with trauma survivors. She is currently a licensed Clinical Psychologist . She has a private practice in San Rafael and Point Reyes Station. She is on staff at the Jeanette Prandi Children’s Center where she works with children who have a history of abuse and neglect. She is also currently the Director of Ritter Center Outreach Program where she provides weekly supervision to the interns who provide counseling services to the clients.

  Susan Shipley, Treasurer, joined the Board of MSW in 2009, having been an active volunteer and supporter for several years. Before retiring in 2007, she held executive positions with such companies as Capital One Financial and Levi Strauss & Co. with a primary focus on corporate real estate, facilities and procurement. She holds an undergraduate degree from Rollins College and an MBA from the Wharton School. She is on the board of a private REIT and previously served on the Board of the Foundation for San Francisco's Architectural Heritage. She lives in Tiburon with her husband, Craig Allison.
 

Talley E. McIntyre, a litigation attorney with Nixon Peabody, LLP,  focuses on government investigations, white-collar criminal defense, complex civil litigation, and labor and employment matters. She also works with the Beverage Alcohol Team. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McIntyre practiced as a litigator and served as in-house counsel in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. She has trial experience as a prosecutor, criminal defense counsel, and special assistant U.S. Attorney. While at the University of San Francisco, Ms. McIntyre was an Articles Editor for the University of San Francisco Law Review and was a member of the McAuliffe Law Honor Society. During law school, Ms. McIntyre worked for the Department of Justice, Torts Branch, Civil Division.

 

Georgia B Wright, a Senior Systems Administrator in the Information Technology Department of the Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District. Georgia is a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Genres. She has also attended College of Marin, Santa Rosa Junior College, and City College pursuing her current career objectives in Information Technology. Georgia comes to us as an Alumna of Marin Services for Women, has served in the officer positions of Secretary and Co-President of the Alumna Association. She currently holds other service positions in the recovery community and is a resident of San Rafael.

 

 
Allan Whitescarver was born and raised in Marin County. Currently he is director of public relations at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a global law firm.His previous professional experience includes posts as chief communications officer at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, director of communications at Clifford Chance LLP and director of communications at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP. He has two children, Jack (8), and Anna (7).
 

Vicki Marti, MA, has more than 20 years of experience specializing in substance abuse treatment. She spent much of her professional career at Marin Services for Women, starting with designing and implementing MSW's first Outpatient Treatment Program. Vicki serves as a State Commissioner on the California Medical Assistance Commission, a position she has held since her appointment by the Governor of California in 2003. Vicki holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University School of Professional Psychology.

 

 

Jerri  Meacham, a marketing specialist has nearly 30 years of experience directing, managing and implementing successful marketing and communications programs for a variety of media, sports, Internet, retail, educational  and professional services companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Previously, she held corporate positions as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Heald College, Vice President of Marketing for Golden Gate Productions, Marketing Director for KGO Radio, Marketing Director for Bay Cable Advertising, Advertising and Promotion Director for Viacom Cable, and Special Events Manager for the San Francisco Giants.  Jerri also had her own consultancy business for many years.  A long-time Marin resident and active member of the community, Jerri also volunteers for Bread & Roses, Centerforce and Hopalong Animal Rescue

 

 
Nicole Blacksburg, senior legal counsel for Advent Software, Inc. grew up in Marin and now resides in San Francisco. When she's not working, Nicole spends her time volunteering at various nonprofits. She has volunteered her time at Glide Memorial Church and Drew Elementary School in San Francisco as well as served on the Board at the Center for Restorative Practice. Nicole attended the University of Oregon and the University of California at Davis. She and her husband are expecting their first child in early spring 2010.
