The success of Marin Services for Women relies on the support of communities, businesses and people like you. Here are just a few examples of how your support can change the lives of women, children and families by providing excellent treatment, educational information, programs and services that promote life-long recovery.

$25 subsidizes a day of meals for a mother and her child who are enrolled in the outpatient drug rehab program at MSW

$50 pays for an educational outing for a child living at MSW through our Child Development Center

$100 one individual counseling session for a woman suffering from PTSD, trauma, or addiction

$250 pays for one week of job readiness classes for a female veteran

$400 one day of residential substance abuse treatment for a woman

$1,000 subsidizes parenting classes for pregnant and parenting mothers

$2,800 pays for residential substance abuse and trauma recovery services for one week

$3,500 pays for five months of transitional housing for a woman and her children under Ten years of age

$6,000 subsidizes residential substance abuse and trauma recovery for a low-income woman for one month

Ways to Give

We gratefully accept donations through a variety of methods. All donations are tax-deductible. Listed below are the most common ways to make a gift. Cash or Check. If you prefer to make a gift to Marin Services for Women by cash or check, simply complete the Donation Form and enclose it with your gift. Checks should be made payable to Marin Services for Women. Please include any specific fund designation.

Credit Card. To make a donation by credit card, the Development office needs your name, the name printed on the card, your address, the credit card number, expiration date and the amount of your donation. We will also need the area or designation of your gift. You can Donate Online it's secure and easy! Or print and mail or fax (415-924-6837) the Donation Form.

Monthly Giving. To make a donation each month by credit card, please click the Donate Online link. By joining our monthly givers’ program, you will become part of a group of supporters who provide a reliable source of support to Marin Services for Women throughout the year in the most convenient and cost-efficient way possible. You can set up a monthly donation to come out of your credit card automatically that fits your monthly budget. It's easier on your wallet and you have control over your giving. You can cancel your donation amount and make changes to your online account at any time. You will receive an email receipt for each recurring donation. It's simple, secure and one of the best ways that you can support Marin Services for Women. Plus, it's paperless!

Matching Gifts. Matching your gift is easy. First, just Donate to Marin Services for Women as you normally would. Then to find out about matching your gift and having your donation dollars go further, check for a match by asking your Human Resources department. Many companies, both big and small, may double (or sometimes triple) the value of donations made to Marin Services for Women by their employees, employees' spouses, or even retirees. There's no additional cost to you and these matching gifts provide much needed funds, as we work to improve the lives of Women and Children through our much needed substance abuse and trauma treatment services. In-Kind Donations. Marin Services for Women appreciates the donations of new and gently used items. Due to limited space, in-kind donations are accepted by appointment only during regular office hours. Please refer to our Wish List for items we're especially in need of.
